As a classically based piano teacher, with a soft spot for the lighter touch, I have an interest in helping everyone find a delight in their piano playing.
A retired music teacher and church organist, I enjoy seeing my pupils develop skills and sensitivity. I welcome children from the age 7+, and also adults, particularly those who may have taken piano lessons at an earlier age but who never got as far as they wanted. Now, maybe, they would like to have another go!
I have an interest in helping everyone find a delight in their playing. It's high priority to me that you enjoy your piano lessons and that we have fun making music together.
As a classically trained musician, I'm commited with you to the quality of music-making and piano technique.
Care is taken in accepting every pupil as an individual, with all their unique strengths and weaknesses.
A proper commitment to regular piano practice is seen as a vital ingredient, and help is given in trying to make good use of your time as you work on your own.
I like to encourage parents to share in their children's progress, and look for positive support wherever this is possible.
I give piano lessons in my home in Bourne End. This is easy to get to from High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Marlow and Gerrards Cross
